1995 USA Basketball’s Male Athlete of the Year
In 1995, Ray Allen was awarded USA Basketball’s Male Athlete of the Year. 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Ray’s achievement. The USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year is an annual award that honors USA Basketball’s Top Male Player during that years international competition. Since the award was introduced in 1980, it has been awarded to basketball greats Isaiah Thomas, Michael Jordan, David Robinson, Alonzo Mourning, Shaq, Tim Duncan, LeBron James and Kevin Durant; just to name a few.
